Professional interview: a postponement is possible

In the context of the COVID-19 health crisis, the deadline for mandatory job interviews for employees to be held in 2020 and the first half of 2021 has been extended. The law on crisis exit management postpones to 1er October 2021 the penalty for companies of at least 50 employees who have not complied with their obligations. Given this deferral, for status interviews that could not be conducted before June 30, 2021, the employer has until September 30, 2021, to conduct the interviews without incurring a penalty.
This measure concerns:
the interviews of
stocktaking
a recap of the employee's professional career every 6 years (which had already been carried over to 31 December 2020);
compulsory professional interviews every two years, designed to examine the employee's prospects for professional development and the training which may contribute to it.
Application of the penalty for companies of at least 50 employees whose employees have not benefited from the interview stocktaking mandatory every 6 years and at least one non-mandatory training is postponed to October 1, 2021. This penalty consists in the abundance of a sum of €3,000 the personal training account (PTA) of the employee concerned.
In addition, to facilitate access to validation of experience gained during the current period:
operators of competences and regional inter-branch joint commissions, so-called associations

, may finance on a flat-rate basis the experience validation pathways until 30 June 2021. The amount of the financial support package shall be determined by those bodies within the limit of €3,000.
operators of skills shall be authorized to mobilize, by way of derogation, the funds dedicated to the financing of work-linked training or the additional contributions collected for the development of continuing vocational training.
Warning
the job interview does not concern the assessment of the employee's work, which is carried out as part of his annual interview.
