OJ 2024: A guide to how to organize work during the event

In order to minimize the impact of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games on the activity and functioning of companies, the Ministry of Labor has published a guide recalling the accommodations that the employer can put in place on this occasion.

This guide provides the flexibility options the employer can use during the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games:

  1. Adapting working hours to peaks in transport traffic
    • working staggered hours
  2. Prioritize the use of paid leave, rest days under working time reduction agreements and telework
    • Coinciding PTO with Olympic and Paralympic Games
    • Taking rest days under agreements for the reduction of working time
    • The use of telework
  3. Adjust working hours to accommodate the constraints of companies contributing to the Olympic and Paralympic Games
    • Maximum working hours
    • The derogation from the daily rest period
    • The derogation from Sunday rest
    • The derogation from weekly rest

Reminder

The Olympic Games will take place between july 26 and august 11, 2024.

The Paralympic Games will take place between august 28 and september 8, 2024.
