In a press kit dated April 30, 2025, the Ministry of Labor presented the measures applicable to apprenticeship contracts and their management.

Compulsory contribution of 750 € for the employer

For apprenticeships preparing for a diploma or professional qualification at least equal to Bac+3 (level 6 of the national professional qualifications framework), the employer will now have to pay a lump sum of €750.

This measure shall apply to contracts of this type concluded from 1er July 2025. It follows the decline in participation by Skills Operators (OPCO) in support of these contracts.

The Apprenticeship Training Center (ATC) concerned will be responsible for recovering this compulsory participation.

Financing of the actual duration of the apprenticeship contract

In order to finance the actual costs of the apprenticeship contract, the level of support will be calculated pro rata to the days of training.

Until now, all months started were due, which increased the cost to OPCO beyond the actual duration of the contract.
