Crit'Air company Vignette
Verified 05 November 2024 - Directorate for Legal and Administrative Information (Prime Minister)
All company vehicles must have a Crit'Air sticker. In particular, it makes it possible to know whether a vehicle is authorized to travel in low-emission zones (LEZs) or in the event of a pollution peak. We present the rules to know on the Crit'Air vignette, as well as the approach allowing to command one.
All vehicles (including company vehicles) must have a Crit'Air vignette : car, utility, motorcycle, scooter, heavy goods vehicle...
The Crit'Air vignette specifies the pollution level of the vehicle.
It exists 6 categories Crit'Air, each corresponding to a sticker number from 0 to 5: the higher this number, the more polluted the vehicle.
One vehicle is kept the same Crit'Air vignette throughout his life.
Once purchased, the sticker remains valid as long as she stays legible.
FYI
The price of the Crit'Air vignette excluding shipping costs is €3.11 for vehicles registered in France.
The price is €3.77 shipping costs included.
For bundled orders, the price depends on the shipping method chosen.
The Crit'Air vignette depends on :
- Type of vehicle : car, lightweight utility, motorcycle, scooter, heavy goods vehicle...
- Type of energy or fuel : electric, diesel, petrol...
- Euro Standard of the vehicle or date of 1re registration

The road signs indicate any reductions in maximum permitted speeds or traffic deviations.
The thumbnail is obligatory for circulate in a Low Emission Mobility Zone (LEZ).
However, access to an EPZ cannot not be prohibited to vehicles displaying a mobility card inclusion with the mention parking for disabled people.
The site ZFE.green, funded by the Ministry of the Environment, provides access to:
- All characteristics of existing EPZs (territory and vehicles concerned, derogations, etc.)

ZFE.green: list of ZFEs and route simulation
Please note
By 1er January 2025, about 30 more EPZs are to be created.
The creation of an EPZ is accompanied by a local information campaign, lasting at least three months, which makes the controlled perimeter and the restrictions on movement known to the public.
Example :
In the Metropolis of Greater Paris m-EPZ, light vehicles (PTAC: titleContent ⩽ 3.5 tons) not classified or bearing the Crit'Air 4 or Crit'Air 5 sticker may not circulate from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., except public holidays. This movement restriction applies to heavy goods vehicles 7 days a week, from 8 am to 8 pm.
The fine is different for a light vehicle and for a heavy goods vehicle.
