In times of drought, the use of waters superficial, underground and thedrinking water may be limited by decision of the mayor or prefect. The public service VigiWater presents water restrictions that are in effect throughout France.
The online service VigiWater allows you to find out about water restrictions in times of drought.
Restrictions depend on:
- From consumer profile water supply: professional, farmer, etc.
- Of sound skill, in particular from his department
- From type of water water consumed: tap water, tap water from a river or stream, tap water from water tables (wells or boreholes)
