Firearm or ammunition export license (Form 15025*01)

Obtain the export license that must be presented to the customs office when completing the mandatory formalities for the export of firearms, ammunition and their components outside the European Union (EU).
To be sent in 4 copies to the Directorate General of Customs and Indirect Taxes (DGDDI), office E2, prohibitions and consumer protection - 11, rue des Deux-Commons - 93558 Montreuil Cedex
The application shall be accompanied by the following supporting documents:
- Copy of the import authorization of the importing third country or proof that the import is exempt from authorization and, if necessary, from the non-objection of the third countries of transit (these documents must be submitted in French or English)
- Business document justifying the upcoming export operation (pro forma invoice, purchase order, etc.)
- If the applicant is a professional: copy of the manufacturing, trading and intermediation authorization (AFCI) or copy of the dealer's authorization
- If the applicant is an individual: a copy of an identity document and a copy of the current prefectural acquisition and possession authorization, hunting permit or shooting license
Two copies of the license are retained by the DGDDI. A copy of the issued firearms export license shall be returned to the exporter. The last copy is intended for the customs office of export.
The export license is non-assignable (it cannot be assigned to a third party).
The application for an export license shall be processed within 60 working days of the submission of a complete application.
In exceptional circumstances and for duly justified reasons, this period may be extended to 90 working days.
If the administrative authority has not replied by the end of that period, the license shall be refused.
