TeleIcare: online declaration of the placing on the market of a dietary supplement (Online service)

Allows, when a food supplement is first placed on the French market, to make the mandatory declaration with the Directorate-General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF).

This declaration takes different forms depending on the composition of the food supplement in terms of ingredients with a nutritional or physiological effect:

• in the case of food supplements containing active ingredients in accordance with the national provisions in force, a model of their labeling must be submitted,
• for food supplements containing a plant preparation or a substance for nutritional or physiological purposes not included on the French positive lists, its marketing in France may be envisaged only after the prior notification procedure to the DGCCRF.
