The DPAE must be sent, at the earliest 8 days before the employee is hired (and before the employee is actually put to work) to the Urssaf, unless devices are used to simplify the formalities for hiring small companies.

The DPAE allows the following formalities to be carried out in a single step: application for registration of the employer with social security in case of 1re hiring of an employee, creation or acquisition of a company employing employees, application for membership of the unemployment insurance scheme, application for membership of an occupational medical service, and application for an information and prevention visit.

Replaces the Single Declaration of Employment (DUE), the Cerfa n°12044*01 is no longer in force.
