Declaration of establishments manufacturing or packaging cosmetic products (Online service)
The opening and operation of any establishment manufacturing (including at the place of sale) or packaging (including at the place of sale), even if incidental, cosmetic products, as well as the extension of the activity of an establishment to such operations, must make a declaration to the services of the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF).
A declaration is required for each establishment carrying out activities of manufacturing and/or packaging cosmetic products, every step :
- Start activities (open)
- Extension/change in previously reported activities (modification)
- Discontinuation of activities (cessation).
These manufacturing and/or packaging activities for cosmetic products must have started in the establishment covered by the declaration at the latest within the following month this statement.
The documents to be provided when you do this are:
- Plan of the premises used to identify the areas intended for the manufacture, packaging and storage of products. The supplied drawing must be able to be printed in A3 (or A4) format and be readable once printed. It must be in jpeg format and must not exceed 200 KB in size. It must be named with the SIRET and the name of the company as follows: 01555035300045_Pharmacy of the station.jpg
- For establishments manufacturing and/or packaging at the place of sale: spreadsheet-type file with the NITS of the establishments concerned
Doing the procedure will take you about 20 to 25 minutes.
The time-limits for investigations of the approach are as follows:
- At best, the time taken to investigate is: 5 days.
- The cases requiring some exchanges the time taken for investigation is approximately: 8 days.
- If your file is incomplete or it takes a lot of back and forth with the administration, so it's about an investigative period 12 days
