The dossier shall include the following elements:

• Declaration form completed and signed by the applicant
• Certificate of professional insurance covering for a period of 1 year the future activity of the applicant on French territory. It must be drawn up directly (and not through a broker) by a French or European insurance company (the list of authorized European insurance companies is available on the website of the Autorité de Control Prudentiel et de Resolution). The certificate must conform to the legal model. It must explicitly cover the applicant - if he is acting as a partner or employee of a European legal person, the name of that business must also appear on the certificate
• Copies of the diplomas, certificates and other evidence of formal qualifications of the architect providing the service. The list of diplomas recognized by the French State is available on the website of the Conseil National de l’Ordre: https://www.architectes.org/node/19531
• Proof of identity: photocopy of the provider's identity card or passport
• Certificate issued by the competent authority of the country of establishment, dated less than three months, certifying that the applicant is legally established in that state and that he is not subject to any administrative or disciplinary penalty which would prevent him from practicing the profession of architect
• If the applicant wishes to practice as an associate or employee of a European legal person: mandate established by the legal representative of that business, certifying that the applicant represents it for its activity in France
• Translations into French of all the supporting documents which are not drawn up in French, bearing the stamp of an official or sworn translator.

The request for renewal must be submitted at least one month before the anniversary date of the previous registration. The following documents should be attached:

• Declaration form completed and signed by the applicant.
• Certificate of professional insurance covering for a period of one year the future activity of the applicant on the French territory established directly (and not through a broker) by a French or European insurance company (the list of authorized insurance companies is available on the website of the Authority for Prudential Control and Resolution at https://acpr.banque-france.fr/autoriser/registre-des-organismes-dassurance and click on the link “List of insurance companies”. The certificate must conform to the legal model and explicitly cover the applicant. If he acts as a member or employee of a European legal person, the name of that business must also appear on the certificate.
• Certificate issued by the competent authority of the country of establishment, less than three months old, certifying that the applicant is legally established in that state and that he is not subject to any administrative or disciplinary penalty which would prevent him from practicing the profession of architect.
• If the applicant wishes to practice as an associate or employee of a European legal person: mandate established by the legal representative of that business, certifying that the applicant represents it for its activity in France.
• Translations into French of all the supporting documents which are not established in French.
