CIROCO Portal: Apply for approval of CIR, CIR and CII, CICo tax credits

A research provider must obtain an authorization before the contractor can declare the research work he has entrusted to him to the research tax credit (CIR).

Such authorization shall make it possible to inform the contractor that his subcontractor has the potential to carry out research and development.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Research issues the accreditation after examining a file. Applications for authorization must be submitted using the CIROCO online service.

The CIROCO portal allows the following applications to be submitted:

  • Application for authorization of the R&D Research Tax Credit (RTC) : The approval is intended to ensure that the applicant organization has already carried out R&D work eligible for the CIR and can be a provider on behalf of third parties, based on the submission of a recent R&D operation.
  • Joint application for authorization of the R&D tax credit (RTC) and the innovation tax credit (ITC). Where an organization is granted a CIR accreditation, it may also obtain, at its request, the innovation accreditation, CII, without establishing a specific dossier.
  • Application for the Collaborative Research Tax Credit (CICo) : The accreditation for the CICo of an organization informs the principals that this organization is recognized as a research and knowledge dissemination organization (RKO).

FYI

The CIROCO portal will soon allow the submission of an application for Tax Credit Textile Clothing Leather (CI THC). The ICC Outsourcing Approval (or THC) informs contractors that the stylist/stylist has the potential to develop a new product line.
