EMPs helped to support companies particularly affected by the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak or the conflict in Ukraine between 2022 and 2023.

Although these arrangements have ended, the possibility for companies to reschedule their loans has now been extended for an additional three years.

SME rescheduling scheme

In order to help companies facing difficulties in repaying their SGP, a market agreement was signed on 19 January 2022 by the Ministry of the Economy, the Banque de France, the Fédération Banque Française and the Institut d'Issue d'Overseas. Originally due to end on 31 December 2023, this agreement allowing the rescheduling of the SGPs with the maintenance of the State guarantee, was extended until december 31, 2026.

It allows these SMEs and SMEs in difficulty to spread the repayment period of their SME over 2 or 4 additional years. For these specific companies, the amortization period of the loan can therefore extend up to 10 years.

The rescheduling is being carried out under the aegis of the Credit Mediation, a local public facility providing free assistance to companies in difficulty, for SMEs up to €50 000.

When the amount of the EGP is more than €50,000, you should go to your departmental advisor after the crisis.
