Extension of the free employment scheme until 31 December 2023

The open jobs scheme, which was due to end on 31 December 2022, is being extended for a further year. It will therefore apply to contracts concluded until 31 December 2023 (except in La Réunion where the scheme applies to contracts concluded until 31 December 2022). However, the device itself is not modified.

The frank employment scheme

Introduced experimentally between 1^er April 2018 and December 31, 2019, the Job Fair Scheme encourages employment of people living in a priority city policy area (QPV) and aims to reduce inequalities in access to employment.

The extension concerns contracts concluded until 31 december 2023. People who can benefit from this type of employment are:

• persons residing in a QPV (your company address is not taken into account);
• members of a professional security contract (CSP);
• young people followed by a local mission who are not registered as jobseekers.

The employer must also meet certain criteria:

• hire the person on a permanent contract or permanent contract for a period of at least 6 months;
• not to hire a person who has been a member of the company within six months before the date of his employment;
• not having made a dismissal for economic reasons in the post to be filled within 6 months prior to recruitment;
• not to use this aid in the context of an apprenticeship contract;
• not to receive any other assistance from the State for integration, access to or return to employment paid in respect of an employee recruited in a frank employment;
• be up to date with its tax obligations.

Unchanged amount of aid

Extended until the end of 2023, the amount of this aid paid by Pôle emploi each semester shall not be changed:

• €5,000 per year, for a maximum of 3 years for a CDI;
• €2,500 per year, for up to 2 years, for recruitment on fixed-term contracts.
