Product selection process

In order to integrate the next Grande Exposition du Fabriqué in France, the products are submitted to 2 selection phases.

Pre-selection phase

First, there is a pre-selection phase in which the regional prefects rely on the advice of the regional and departmental councils, consular networks and local economic relays to assess the quality of applications received according to various criteria:

  • the percentage share of the value added of the product produced in France;
  • the labels held: company labels, quality, know-how, origin...;
  • the company’s commitment to a social and environmental approach;
  • participation in a France Relance or France 2030 ;
  • the company’s commitment to relocating the business to France;
  • the company's links with schools and higher education institutions to promote youth employment;
  • the procedure for exporting the product manufactured in France.
Final selection by the national committee

Once the pre-selection phase is completed, the National Committee selects one product per department to be exhibited at the Elysée Palace for the Grande Exposition du Fabriqué in France in July 2023.

This national committee shall be convened by Bruno Le Maire, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Olivia Grégoire, Deputy Minister for Small and Medium Companies, Trade, Crafts and Tourism and Roland Lescure, Minister of Industry. It is composed of personalities recognized for their commitment to the Made in France.
