The amount of the Recovery or company Creation Assistance (Arce) increases as of July 1, 2023

The amount of the Aid for take-over or creation of company (Arce) changes to 1er July 2023. The level of this aid, paid by Pôle emploi and intended for job-seekers who create or take over companies, increases from 45% to 60% of the remaining entitlement to back-to-work aid.

Pursuant to a decree of 26 January 2023, the company Recovery or Creation Aid (Arce) will be increased to 1er July 2023 from 45% to 60% rights to Return to Employment Assistance (RWA) which remain to be paid at the start of the activity.

This increase is due to the reduction in the duration of compensation for jobseekers. Indeed, at 1er in february 2023, the duration of benefits was reduced by 25% due to favorable labor market conditions (unemployment below 9% or growth of less than 0.8% in one quarter).

Only jobseekers who create or take over companies whose contract ended on or after 1er july 2023 are affected by this development.

Reminder

The Arce includes a 3% deduction dedicated to the financing of supplementary pensions.

Example :

on 1er January 2023, a jobseeker receiving a EUR 40 per day AER for 730 days. Taking into account the waiting time and the deferred compensation, it starts on the 1er March 2023. He collects the 1's AERer as of March 31, 2023. The 1er in april 2023, he founded his company. On that date, he has a balance of 700 days (730 days - 30 days). The amount of the capital will be: [(40 € x 700 days) x 0.60] = €16,800 (with deduction of 3%: €16296).

Who can benefit from the Arce?

This aid is intended for:

  • job seekers who are beneficiaries of the ARE and who set up or take over a company;
  • jobseekers who are entitled to the ERA but who do not receive it when starting their activity;
  • employees made redundant as they begin to set up or take over a company during their period of employment notice, sound reclassification leave or sound mobility leave.

It is necessary to have obtained aid for the creation or resumption of a company (Acre) to be able to get the Arce.

How do I get this help?

In order to benefit from the Arce, you must complete an application with Pôle emploi and provide proof of the creation or takeover of a company under the Acre scheme.
