In a press release dated December 4, 2023, the Ministry of Economy gives companies affected by recent climate disasters the opportunity to benefit from an adjustment of the terms of payment of the 2023 CFE scheduled for December 15.

How to benefit?

To obtain these facilities, a simple request online is enough. It has to go to the tax department.

However, it is necessary:

  • to demonstrate that your inability to pay the CFE results directly a cash-flow problem linked to these severe weather conditions;
  • your company is located in a municipality concerned by a interministerial order for the recognition of the state of natural disaster, or in a serious commune impacted by storms CIARAN or DOMINGOS.

If your company is eligible, they can benefit from the remission of the penalties linked to their situation against a commitment to pay the CFE 2023 notice within a reasonable time.

FYI

Payment periods will be granted on a case by case basis.
