Reminder

The obligation to issue and receive electronic invoices concerns companies established in France and liable to VAT.

Electronic invoicing will be mandatory for all transactions between companies established in France and subject to VAT.

For SMEs and small businesses, the timetable for implementing this reform is as follows:

  • obligation to receive electronic invoices from 1er september 2026 ;
  • obligation to issue electronic invoices as of 1er september 2027.
