Learning and disability guide: the 2025 edition is online!

To develop and encourage the recruitment of apprentices with disabilities, the Ministry of Labor is publishing the 2025 edition of the Learning and Disability Guide.

The 2025 edition of the Learning and Disability Guide inform companies, apprenticeship training centers (ATCs) and persons with disabilities about the adapted apprenticeship contract.

This guide shall include information on:

  • the benefits of managed learning ;
  • the available aid ;
  • the interlocutors.

What is a modified apprenticeship contract?

The adapted apprenticeship contract is a contract for persons who are recognized as disabled workers (RQTH).

It is accessible from the age of 16 and without a maximum age limit.

The apprentice hasadjustments andaid in order to secure and facilitate its training course.

Arranged learning is part of initial training. It aims to issue a qualification or diploma registered in the National Directory of Professional Certification (RNCP) following a training course which combines:

  • periods of theoretical instruction in an apprenticeship training center (CFA);
  • and periods of practical training (teaching the trade) with a private or public employer.

The duration of an arranged apprenticeship contract is between 6 months and 3 years according to the certification prepared. She may be extended by one year to benefit from training time adjustments.
