Obtain authorization to operate (LOGICS tele-procedure) (Online service)

Any natural or legal person who settles, expands, reduces a holding or combines holdings shall be subject to authorization to operate, in particular if he:

• has no professional capacity or agricultural experience;
• exceeds the area threshold laid down in the regional master plan for agricultural holdings or reduces the area of a holding below that threshold;
• is in a multiactivity situation and has extra-agricultural income exceeding the threshold laid down by law;
• operates an area more than a certain distance from its place of business;
• is over 60 years of age;

Authorization to operate shall also be required in the following cases:

• agricultural holding without a member holding;
• modification of a business with departure of one of the partners;
• creation or extension of capacity of above-ground workshops.

The application for authorization must be made:

• in parallel with the signing of a promise to purchase or lease the parcels or holding concerned;
• before the execution of the leases or the signature of the acts of acquisition of the parcel or the holding concerned.
