Individual business On May 15, 2022, the new statute of the French national child care provider (l'Equifer) entered into force. This major change is accompanied by new obligations concerning the mandatory particulars to be included in commercial documents.
What are the business documents?
Commercial documents are documents issued by the company and linked to the commercial relationship it has with its customers or partners.
These may include:
contracts;
letters;
purchase and delivery orders;
tariffs and advertising material;

invoices;
matches;
receipts ...
A new mandatory entry
For individual entrepreneurs, the new status is accompanied by a new mandatory entry in the commercial documents. Thus, the name of the contractor must henceforth be preceded or followed by the words "sole trader" or initials "IS".
In the absence of one of these mandatory statements, the offender is liable to a fine for contraventions of 4e class. The amount of this fine may be up to €750.
