Recovery equity loans: extension until December 31, 2023

The Recovery equity loans for SMEs, initially scheduled until June 30, 2022, have been extended until December 31, 2023.

The Recovery equity loans, introduced in April 2021 to support companies who have suffered the consequences of the health crisis, are now available until December 31, 2023.

Objectives of the equity loans Recovery

The purpose of these equity loans is to enable small and medium-sized companies SMB and mid-cap companies (Mid-cap companies) to raise new long-term financing.

These loans, backed by the government, help strengthen the solvency of companies affected by the health crisis and contribute to their financial soundness.

The Relance participatory loans, backed by a State guarantee of 30% of their amount, are repayable over 8 years, with a repayment delay of 4 years (up to 6 years).

In addition, the time limit for establishing the transfer price of each claim which is still the subject of a procedure for reconciliation or ad hoc mandate within 6 months of the end of the State guarantee was extended to 30 June 2032.

Recovery equity loans are bank loans. They are distributed by the banking institutions or the financing businesses.

To what companies is this aid intended?

This aid is intended to support small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) and mid-cap companies (ETIs) in France wishing to develop and which:

  • have suffered from the health crisis (delayed financing of operations, new investments needed ...);
  • have a turnover of more than EUR 2 million.
