The addition of activity consists of add additional activity to that or those already exercised by the company. This can allow you to meet your customers' demand, adapt to the market or even strengthen an existing business. The formalities to be carried out vary according to legal status on your company.

Micro-entrepreneur
Even if you have several activities, the turnover ceiling to be respected to remain micro-entrepreneur is not modified.
Indeed, the exercise of several activities with the same micro-company does not in any way increase the thresholds.
In order to know which cap to adhere to, you have to determine your main activity, i.e. the most important activity in terms of turnover.
It is also the activity that determines your EPA code (main activity).
You'll only have to realizea single declaration of turnover, but you will share the turnover of each activity in making that statement.
To add a new activity, you must make the declaration on the website of the company formalities office.

Since 1er january 2023, it is no longer possible to carry out your procedures in a company Formalities Center (CFE). You must make them on the website of the company formalities office.
You must submit the following documents:
- In case of addition of a regulated activitydocument justifying the authorization or application to carry out that activity
- If the addition of activity follows a purchase of goodwill, a copy of the deed of purchase of the goodwill recorded at the company Tax Office (SIE)
Individual business
Individual business TheIS: titleContent, EIRL: titleContent) can add an activity and so carry out several activitieseven if they are not related to each other.
To add a new activity, you must make the declaration on the website of the company formalities office.

When reporting, you must submit the supporting documents following:
- In case of addition of a regulated activitydocument justifying the authorization or application to carry out that activity

Business
The formalities to be carried out differ according to the wording of the object of the company which was made in the statutes of the business:
- Either the new activity between in the scope of the business object
- Either the new activity don't come in in the scope of the business object

The new activity falls within the scope of the objects of the company
Where the object of the company is drafted in a sufficiently broad manner for the added activity to fall within the scope of the latter, there is no no need to change statuses.
Example :
If the object of your hairdresser calls for “mixed hairstyle” and you were until now positioned on the female hairstyle, you can quite extend your field of activity to male hairstyle without having to modify your social object.

The new business doesn't fit in
You must perform a alteration of the objects of the company business.
Example :
If the business purpose of your restaurant is to "eat-in and take-out", you can only add a hotel or food business by making a statutory amendment.
