Financial aid to prevent occupational risks: you have until November 15, 2022

Are you a VSE or an SME? Do you want to improve the health and safety conditions of your company? Health Insurance offers you financial assistance to combat the risks inherent in your sector of activity.

In order to prevent occupational risks and to help companies wishing to implement health and safety measures, the Health Insurance has put in place two types of financial assistance:

  • VPE prevention grants for establishments with less than 50 employees;
  • prevention contracts for companies with fewer than 200 employees.

The prevention grants TPE

This aid up to €25,000 is intended for companies with less than 50 employees.

It aims to improve the safety and health of employees by reducing exposure to risks such as exposure to hazardous chemicals or falls from a height.

Financial aid is therefore intended to be used by the company to purchase preventive equipment, provide training or assess occupational risks.

In order to benefit from these TPE prevention grants, the company must comply with the following conditions:

  • be enrolled in the general social security scheme;
  • be a company of less than 50 employees the date of application or the date of payment of the grant;
  • join an occupational health service;
  • be up to date in the payment of contributions to the Urssaf;
  • have established and updated the Single Risk Assessment Document (SRA) for less than one year;
  • have informed the staff representative bodies of the measures envisaged;
  • not to have received three financial aids since 1er January 2018;
  • not be the beneficiary of, or have benefited from, an ongoing prevention contract during the two years preceding the application for the TPE prevention grant;
  • not be subject to an injunction or an additional assessment.

The request for help is made online from your AT/MP account on net-company.fr.

Please note

Aid shall be granted in chronological order of arrival of applications.

Prevention contracts

These contracts are intended to fund larger prevention projects.

This assistance can be used if a national agreement of objectives has been signed for your industry. This agreement is an agreement, defining the prevention objectives to be pursued, signed between the Health Insurance - Occupational Risks and one or more professional organizations of a sector of activity.

The contract is established with your regional fund (Carsat: titleContent, Caisse régionale d'assurance santé d'Île-de-France or CGSS: titleContent). It defines the contours of the project, its objectives and the assistance that will be provided to you.

In order to benefit from a prevention contract, the company must comply with the following conditions:

  • have a concrete prevention project;
  • have a overall employment below 200 employees ;
  • be up to date in the payment of your social obligations, including contributions;
  • fall within the scope of a national agreement of objectives signed by the professional organizations in your sector of activity.

The sectors concerned

The financial assistance will cover the following sectors of activity:

  • CONSTRUCTION;
  • Transport and logistics;
  • Food shops;
  • Metallurgy and agri-food industry;
  • Personal care and support;
  • Garage and car repair;
  • Hairdressing and beauty care;
  • Hotels and catering;
  • Cleanliness and cleaning.

Companies with less than 50 employees in the Food and Drink Sector may benefit from the Food and catering subsidy + in order to obtain suitable equipment.

Please note

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the sectors mentioned (except food stores) can be supported in their local needs by specific regional subsidies.
