You have just received the city planning authorization (building permit or planning permit) and you wonder if it is necessary to declare the opening of the site? We explain how to proceed.
FYI
If the work is the subject of a advance declaration of work (RFP) or a permit to demolish, you must not declare the opening of the site.
The RFSO is a document indicating the commencement of work to the town hall.
It must be sent at the beginning of the work.
Please note
There's no no legal definition the concept of commencement of work.
If you have a building permit u one planning permission, you must declare the opening of your site to the town hall.
DOC's approach varies depending on whether you are in the provinces or in Paris.
General case
You must file your DOC in town hall:
- By dematerialized means according to the arrangements made by your municipality (find out more on the website of the town hall or on site)
- By letter RAR: titleContent
- Hand-held.
